Wolverley Meet - 23rd April 2010
20 units ranging from Romahomes of varying sizes to Combi Camp and Caravans met up for a weekend at Wolverley, Worcestershire. There were over 40 Forum members and their families.
The weekend started well with most of us arriving mid afternoon Friday although a lucky few had been there all week!
Friday evening we had an American Supper in the site Information Room, where each person brings along some food or drink to share with the others. There were delicious breads, cakes, meats and other goodies to savour.
We were entertained all evening with songs from our lovely guitarist JayJay, poems and singing from the delightful Twinkletoes and Songbird plus superb Accordian playing from Whilemina, she had everyone up and dancing!
Saturday each did their own thing from bike rides to strolls down the canal. In the evening many of us went over to the Queens Head, just a short walk from the site, where we enjoyed a lovely meal and more chance to get chatting. Our lovely member 'Lunnie' made another birthday cake to celebrate the Forum's 4th birthday, there was enough for everyone to have a piece!
Sunday there was time for a little more dancing before our final farewells
