It does sound a bit dodgy Mike, maybe I should have rephrased it!!I will leave it as it is because it best describes how we help one another out up here,I have some great Bongomates up here and I only know them coz Im daft enough to own a Bongo they are very social vehicles as well owning one certainly has made a difference to my life, its a pleasure as well as a hobby as well as an escape, its the best thing I have done for years!!

wow dabs - its looking brilliant!! What sort of curtains have you got then - have I asked you that before?? I have some for back window and one big piece of material basically that goes behind the 2 seats across the van - when I took it to the bongo bloke for some little bits to be sorted eg heating fixed, he mentioned a rail for the front with curtains.....obviously have blinds for the sides....

I am at it again folks,I have bit the bullet and gone for a costly but nice improvement.
I am picking up my new seats and door cards and centre cubby box on Sunday.I say new seats, they will be the originals re trimmed in leather look vinyl to match the new couch storage set up I now have in the back. They are being done by a chap who works for Bentley Cars he also does a lot of work for the Mazda MX5 club.he does a fantastic job and really knows his stuff!

I will of course post up a few pics when they are back and installed in my Bongo.

Think its time I stopped now............just the.......err and the ........

Seriously, you have done a great job on her - especially the leather seats, etc
a real classy act to follow, methinks.

What a good idea Derek...................nnooooooooooooooooooo what am I saying

The alloys could do with a refurb......a bit of a cheaper route than new ones and I like the style I have on it ..........so added to the list!!I will wait for warmer weather and NO salt and grit on the roads before I tackle a wheel refurbishment. The salt doesnt half hammer the wheels !!!

Thanks again Mike !!

Mine a pimpmobile.....its nothing at the side of some of my Bongopals vehicles, mine was bought as a camper and is used as a camper......ok I enjoy doing little bits n pieces to it but I am not as into pimping the Bongo as some owners.thats what I like about the Bongo no two are alike as everyone has their own interpretation as to what they want to do to it both inside and out.The Bongo is as different as its owners, its what makes them great!!

By the way Mike.........its a Boy.......I call it Arnie

Wow it looks so shiney and clean - we will all have to take our shoes off before we start the grand tour! Can't wait to see it in the flesh (or should that be faux leather!)

Well done Arnie

It's always a relief when the MoT's out the way and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.

I have a slight hiccup with my Bongo at the moment! a new radiator is required!! Hopefully it will be sorted tomorrow and then back into normal service again.I am on holiday this week and cant go anywhere till its done, its not disrupted my holiday week as its enforced leave from work and I didnt have anything campingwise booked (just as well really) anyway onward and upward!

That's a shame they say the weather is going to be really nice after today , you could have gone away on spec.

I hope Arnie is back soon and you can get out and enjoy some camping.

What radiator did you get, Dabs - a genuine Mazda one from the Club shop?

Nothing wrong with mine - that I know of - but each tale of overheating probs make me squirm, so am wondering if it would be advisable to do a "just in case" replacement!!
