A nice panoramic shot of Seaton Sluice harbour. Just about 3 minutes from the site.

    Default Northumbria da further info

Tonight I was out with friends for a meal. Being such a nice night, we stopped at Blyth south beach just a ross the road from the meeting site. We had a stroll along the prom and I got some pics of the beach with the tide in.
I got talking to one of the staff who was busy locking up the public toilets etc(close at 8pm) I mentioned I would be there at the bank holiday. He said that I could go to the local locksmiths and get a key for the disabled/baby change room, if toilets were needed after hours. I jokingly mentioned, that a shower would be nice. He said that he was at the centre(on the promenade) from 8am until 11am Mon to Friday and 7am on weekend, and he said the staff shower would be availabel if anyone wanted one. Very helpful man.

At the end of the video where the lifeguard station is, is where I was the other night. That is where the toilets are. There is a fish shop(not the one I mentioned in my original post). It appears at beginning of the video. There is an ice cream parlour and cafe on the promenade.

I popped into Blyth today to get that key(for the toilets) from the locksmiths. While I was at it I went down by the quayside where the tall ships were last year. They have built a hotel there and a pub restsurant. Looks nice.

Pam, Probably a silly question but Rita just asked me to check. Is the site dog friendly?

As far as I know. It doesn't say they're not allowed.
