Default Berlingo 05 front seats won't fold enough

    Hi

My front seats won't fold forward enough to allow a boot jump or similar thing to fold out into a bed. With the seats wound down as far as they'll go I get around 5ft 8 space in the back.
I read on another thread they had put in front seats from a Citroen van which will fold flat, but which van would they have used? That particular thread is closed.
I'm so frustrated with the whole thing as it all just needs money at the moment (cam belt doing, a service, it's overheating for some reason, stalls each time I slow down first thing in morning) The last thing I need is to find the seats front seats don't go forward enough.
Are seats expensive? Are they expensive to get put in? Which seats would I need
Thanks in advance for answers. I'm a newbie here so nervous of posting lol.

Berlingo van passenger seats fold flat but have no fore and aft adjustment.

How practical are you? When we had a Seat Terra van I modified the adjuster to make the backrest adjust more. A visit to a scrap yard to investigate seats from alternative vehicles might be in order.

    From Amdro's vehicle compatibility list:-

    "COMPATIBLE CARS
    Citroen
Berlingo 1996 – 2008 - (small modification to front seats with winders)"

    http://www.amdro.co.uk/boot-jump-cam...ttle-p-43.html

Not very specific but a "small" modification sounds more encouraging.

I live in Daventry near Intapart http://intapart.com/ and they're very good at letting you go round with a tape measure,no toolboxes though. You tell them what you want and they get it off for you.Worth having a browse round your local scrappie, seats on the delica forum go for about £30 each or so depending on condition

    Default Berlingo seats

When I had an Amdro boot jump, I went to their h.q. in Wales and they fitted it for me. I remember the guy having to cut a part of the seat mechanism in order that it would tilt forward a bit further, it may be worth ringing Amdro and having a chat with them. My car was a 2007 Citroen berlingo, so it can be done.

There is a modification you do, a hacksaw and mole grips are the tools you need, I'll pm you my phone number to talk you through it.
