Caravan Club site open to non members. Tents accepted.

Usual high standard of facilities for a Caravan Club site. Showers, toilets, motorhome service point, laundry, chemical disposal, information room.

We use this site quite often as it is handy for visiting relatives.

Staff seem more strict that at other CC sites. We were made to move our small rear awning as it was partly on the grass at the back of the gravel ptich. We accept that there needs to be firebreaks between units but our pitch was open at the back and at least 20 feet from the hedge!

There are several bus routes which run from the small shopping area a few streets away from the entrance to the park where the site is situated. These buses run frequently into Brighton town centre. Timetables are available in the site information room and from site reception.

You can also walk into Brighton approx. 2 miles. along the sea front, it is a pleasant walk away from the traffic.

There is also a small Volks railway which runs along the sea front to the Pier. (This is not open all year.

Parking is very expensive in Brighton - expect to pay up to £10 for the day - there is no free parking that we know of.

Brighton seafront gets very busy during high season and is best avoided by car/van!

There is no need to enter Brighton town centre to get to the site. From the north - M23/A23 - after passing Brighton boundary sign and twin pillars join A27 (signposted Lewes); immediately after passing Sussex University (on Left) leave A27 via slip road at signpost B2123, Falmer, Rottingdean; at roundabout at top of slip road turn Rright onto B2123 (signposted Falmer, Rottingdean); in 2miles at traffic lights in Woodingdean turn Right by Downs Hotel into Warren Road; in about 1mile at traffic lights turn Left into Wilson Ave, crossing racecourse; in 1 1/4miles turn Left at foot of hill (last turning before traffic lights) into East Brighton Park; follow lane for 1/2mile to Site entrance on Left.

There is not much overnight parking at this site and they do ask that you do not arrive before 12 noon
