We visited here in 2004 and since our visit they have added a 'New Pub' with large screen TV so we don't know how this might affect the tranquility of the site.

This site has some lovely pitches. Some are on the riverside, some are in individual private bays, some are more open. Have a good look round before deciding on your pitch.

We had a private bay surrounded on three sides with tall hedges, it had it's own tap and waste disposal plus electric hook up. There was also a small hut within the pitch with your own indoor brick built fireplace to do your own fire or barbecue.

Shop bar, restaurant and take away on site.

Fishing available on small lake on site. Bicycle hire on site

Short walk either by road or along river side path will take you to the local small town for shops, bank etc.

Lovely covered pool complex - cover is drawn back on hot days.

Forest of Compiegne is nearby. It is steeped in wartime history - visit the Railway Carriage where the Armistice was signed, fascinating museum, easy parking. Lots of lovely picnic areas around the lakes.
