Pleasant site near centre of small Ayrshire town, which we have used several times when attending Girvan Folk Festival, as the festival site is too crowded and noisy for us!

This is a busy site at weekends, with many caravans used for weekending, but not too noisy. We would advise booking, but the shop/office is not continuously manned by the friendly site owners, so booking is not always straightforward!

Relatively expensive for level of facilities provided.

Girvan is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and has a good beach and a relatively busy little harbour. A good centre for touring south Ayrshire and Galloway.
